Patty Benton’s Mission:
Patty Benton was born with the gift to teach, which she fine-tuned by getting a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in education and becoming a Certified Coach and a Coach Trainer. Add in her desire to help others and her intense passion to help women who want to experience the same blessings she was granted in working from home, and that creates a woman on a mission. Patty’s primary focus encompasses coaching, training and assisting women who are seeking to develop a professional business virtually (of any industry) that she can be proud of and that will sustain her passion to stay at home through building a solid business foundation and learning to create a systematic marketing plan. Patty desires that no woman should forget her dreams, no matter what her financial or personal circumstances entail.
Patty Benton is the partner and co-owner of JERPAT, LLC. She started her career as a teacher, but upon having her first child, she desired to be at home. After exploring her stay at home career options, Patty felt that the virtual assistance business was the best way to utilize her talents and still be available to her children. After many struggles and mistakes, Patty gained her first client. She has since then built a successful business working primarily with coaches & speakers, helping them develop and present their teleseminars to gain exposure and clients.
Patty’s first step into applying her gifts as a coach was when she established the first Failure is NOT an Option program that was affordable to all Virtual Assistants (VA) who desired a coach to help establish their business successfully. She learned early on that the majority of coaching programs were not affordable to the VA on a tight budget starting their business, yet Patty believed it was an imperative tool in their business success. In the first 5 years, she helped over 60 Virtual Assistants start their businesses, as well as helped established struggling VAs create the business they originally intended when they started their businesses.
Patty currently provides training and speaking focused on helping women of all industries create a solid business and marketing foundation. She provides a variety of ways for women to experience her, as she realizes that each woman has individual needs, learning styles, circumstances, and struggles. The Story of a Mother’s Virtual Professional Success:
Not only is Patty Benton the owner of The Missing Piece, LLC & JERPAT, LLC, but she is a dedicated and faithful Christian, a busy (and sometimes crazy) mother to three children, and stepmother to two grown sons. She works very hard to show her faith through the quality of services she provides to all.
A former elementary public school teacher (teaching always has been and always will be her passion – the age of her “students” has just shifted), Patty enjoys spending time with her family; traveling, shopping, and just playing. She is an avid reader, and yes, a “Days of Our Lives” and L.O.S.T. fan (a girl has to be able to relax and enjoy others chaotic lives).
Patty has enjoyed the twists and turns in her journey, and is passionate in helping other Entrepreneurial Business Professionals who want to launch their businesses, or are struggling to have the business they intended. She thanks God everyday that she is blessed with a business that allows her to stay home with her family, and yet still find fulfillment in herself through her business, as well as assist with the family finances.
